Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles seeks a People Relations Partner Associate I to support daily employee relations needs and projects as VOALA grows. This hands-on role involves front-line interaction with program managers and staff, focusing on communications, coaching and relationship building.

It is an individual contributor position. The role requires 2 years of HR experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and familiarity with UltiPro HRIS and ClearCompany ATS.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 2 years of general HR experience; 6 months handling grievances

Responsibilities

• Interact with employees and managers; provide on-site HR support
• Manage HR case intake and triage cases to PRP
• Conduct workplace interviews and address employee concerns
• Assist with compliance and program audits
• Support investigations and documentation
