Job summary
State of Wisconsin - Local and Tribal Governments: Jefferson County is seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator II to deliver general HR support across timekeeping, performance appraisal administration, pay and accrual processes, and unemployment coordination. This onsite role supports payroll and HR functions in accordance with County ordinances and federal/state regulations.
In this position you will coordinate payroll and timekeeping activities, assist with recruitment, administer performance
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field with three years of related experience or internship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field with one year of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate payroll and timekeeping activities.
- Assist with recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Administer employee performance appraisal process.
- Maintain pay and benefit accrual information and ensure accuracy.
- Support unemployment compensation administration and related communications with employees and departments.
- Represent the County in hearings as required.
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, county ordinances, and state/federal regulations.
