Clarity Recruiting represents a Seattle-based finance firm seeking an HR Coordinator to support its People team with onboarding, offboarding, and HR administration in a fast-paced environment.

Location is Downtown Seattle / Central Business District, five days onsite. Employment type is contract (ongoing) with a compensation range of $25-28/hour. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in HR or related field and have at least 2 years of HR/HR coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years of HR/HR Coordinator or admin experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professionalism with discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding logistics for employees.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Workplace teams for Day 1 and offboarding.
• Track onboarding progress and follow up on tasks.
• Manage centralized HR inbox and respond to inquiries; escalates as needed.
• Maintain accurate employee records and process transactions in Workday.
• Process new hires, transfers, promotions, and other employee changes.
• Prepare employment documents including verification letters and offer/transfer/termination letters.
• Support ad hoc HR projects and administrative initiatives.
