Job summary

Commonwealth of VA Careers is seeking an experienced HR Analyst for Virginia’s Judicial System. The role provides comprehensive HR support across recruitment, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and performance management.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload while delivering accurate HR services. This position is 100% in-office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience entering, reviewing, and maintaining employee information in an HRIS.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, timely work products.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines; proactive communication.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes; coordinating communications and pre-employment steps.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary HR point of contact to provide HR services to Judicial system employees.
• Researches, interprets, and applies HR policies and employment requirements.
• Maintains ownership of assigned work from initiation through resolution with proper follow-up.
