Job summary

Telluride Ski & Golf is seeking an on-site Housing Manager to direct operations of employee housing facilities across Big Billie’s, Mountain View, Rico Hotel, Fairway Four/Lawson and Ridgway properties in Telluride.

Responsibilities include processing leases, coordinating move-ins, maintenance, vendor relations, and tenant communications, with a focus on guest experience and cost controls. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years housing management preferred; nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or minimum two years related experience.
• 2-4 years’ experience in Housing Management preferred.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as job requires.
• Mechanical or maintenance knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Live on site at Big Billie’s. (preferred but not required)
• Communicate documents with appropriate departments (Unit allocations/availability)
• Review applications and request background checks
• Develop and implement roommate surveys for move-in compatibility
• Assist tenants with move-in process and ensure units are in good order
• Promote harmonious tenant relations across properties
• Refer applicants to private housing when needed
• Respond timely to tenant requests
• Schedule property walk-throughs for all properties
• Maintain regular office hours at Big Billie’s
• Develop property tenant committees and meet regularly
• Identify maintenance needs and submit work orders or hire contractors
• Perform maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain security system policies and vendor contacts
• Coordinate house cleaners, snow removal, and exterior maintenance
• Develop and implement parking policies
• Understand security and fire sprinkler systems
• End-of-lease walk-throughs and security deposit settlements
• Code invoices and analyze management costs for cost reduction
• Assign janitorial personnel and requisition furnishings
• Provide guest experiences exceeding expectations
• Support sustainability initiatives and adhere to policies
