Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee on-site operations at the hospital partner, acting as the main liaison with hospital leadership and the practice team. You will drive administrative and clinical support, ensure policy adherence, and coordinate staffing and onboarding activities.

The role focuses on day-to-day practice management, collaboration with hospital executives, and maintaining compliant processes across HR, scheduling, and payer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years' experience in healthcare operations; physician group practice experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HR information systems and healthcare regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as front-line liaison for the provider team with hospital C-Suite, nursing leadership, and Sound operations.
• Provide executive support to the practice medical director and team to meet contract expectations.
• Oversee office management, meetings, supplies, and practice events.
• Develop and maintain site practice policies; coordinate patient census and rounds.
• Support onboarding, credentialing, and hospital privileging processes; ensure compliance.
