Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Practice Administrator to lead on-site operations at our hospital-based practice. You will partner with hospital leadership, manage schedules, staffing, budgets, and ensure compliant, efficient care delivery.

This role emphasizes collaboration with medical directors, C-suite, and clinical teams; it includes onboarding, privileging coordination, and driving performance through reporting and process improvements. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or similar related field of study or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years' experience working in healthcare operations; managing a physician group or hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participating in setting strategic direction of the medical group in collaboration with medical director.
• Front-line liaison for clinician team with hospital C-Suite and Sound operations.
• Provide executive support to practice medical director and team to meet contract expectations.
• Office management functions including meeting management, supplies, and events.
• Develop and maintain site practice policies and procedures; onboard and orient new clinicians.
