Job summary

GCON is seeking a Project Manager to lead high-tech program management and act as the onsite point of contact with owners. You will oversee program build-out, coordinate teams and 1099/consultants, and ensure safety and continuous improvement across all project aspects.

The ideal candidate combines technical and administrative expertise with owner-relations experience for diverse commercial projects, driving profitability and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial building, general contractor preferred.
• 5+ years supporting high-tech client programs.
• Experience with the design process of building systems for high-tech projects.
• Working knowledge of cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles.
• Proficient with MS Project and Primavera P6; highly proficient with Procore and/or CMIC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program build-out for high-tech client office and datacenter fit-outs.
• Engage in preconstruction activities including estimating, buy-out, logistics, scheduling, and pursuits.
• Support the operational plan and assist the Project Manager and BUL on new revenue pursuits and presentations.
• Support client relationships to grow business portfolio and profitability.
• Coordinate contract staff (1099s & consultants) and ensure safe, compliant execution.
• Review narratives, specifications, and drawings to provide constructability input.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and action plans to improve financial performance.
• Support Last Planner System cadence and continuous improvement activities.
