Job summary

Jacobs in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a large healthcare/Life Science project on-site at the client site. You will manage the project team, ensure delivery within schedule, scope and budget, and provide leadership from conception through completion.

The role requires 15+ years of project management experience, a BS in engineering/construction/architecture, knowledge of pre-design, building systems, contract management, and proficiency with Procore.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project manager experience including Owner's Rep, design phase, construction management of large healthcare and/or Life Science building programs of $100 million or more.
• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture or commensurate experience
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
• Ability to work onsite during the week at client site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project team and oversight of overall project delivery from conception through completion.
• Ensure progress, technical performance, material management, schedule, cost, scope and safety for the project.
