Your impact starts with joining Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. as an experienced Project Director at the client site in Chicago, IL. You will guide a project team, manage the development from conception to completion, and ensure delivery within budget and program objectives for large healthcare programs.

Lead project leadership, manage scope, schedule, cost, safety, and building systems knowledge. Onsite presence and strong client relationships are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture or commensurate experience.
• 15+ years of project manager experience including Owner's Rep, design phase, construction management of large healthcare and/or Life Science building programs of $100 million or more
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
• Ability to work onsite during the week at client site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project leadership and oversight of large healthcare projects from conception through completion.
• Lead onsite project teams, coordinating with Owner’s staff and ensuring delivery within scope, schedule and budget.
• Oversee risk, safety, quality, and cost management across the project lifecycle.
• Resolve complex project issues and disputes while maintaining strong client relationships.

Your impact

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Director who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client's project site in Chicago, IL you'll be responsible for managing a project team working alongside Owner’s staff, you’ll be responsible not only for the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.You’ll manage and provide project leadership, management and oversight of the large healthcare project(s) and resolve complex project related issues, disputes, and disagreements.

As the onsite Program Director, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of the project, but also the material management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety of the team.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture or commensurate experience

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Experience with Procore and/or other project/construction management software platforms
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification preferred

The base salary range for this position is $180,000.00 to $220,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
