Job summary

Lillibridge Healthcare Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general property maintenance tasks at our Washington, DC area facilities. This onsite role requires reliability, safety adherence, and the ability to manage work orders and respond to emergencies.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance experience, relevant certifications, and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred.
• EPA 608 (CFC) Type I or Type II – required.
• Certifications (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) preferred.
• Must be located in Washington, DC area.
• Must be onsite 5 days a week with after-hours emergencies/on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders using work order software.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve issues safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members regarding building needs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Support the Supervisor/Property Manager in monitoring building operations and vendor performance.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
