Job summary

Providence is seeking a Project Manager to lead large, diverse projects in clinical informatics and healthcare IT on a full-time, day shift, onsite basis. The role reports to an Executive Sponsor and requires cross-functional collaboration to meet strategic objectives and improve quality outcomes.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years in information technologies or healthcare project management, with PM methodology training and Lean/Six Sigma exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent education/experience.
• Education with Project Management methodology.
• CAP, Workout and Lean education training required within first year on the job.
• Experience with PM methodologies and software.
• Experience leading projects with multiple teams and lifecycle management.
• Experience making presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Experience developing and modifying process standards for a project.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for one or more large, diverse projects in clinical informatics, physician practice implementations or quality improvement.
• Manage all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor.
• Work within Providence Shared Services to support mission and patient care goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and outcomes.
