Job summary

Ovation Healthcare is seeking an IT Field Services Technician to be the on-site IT resource for a primary hospital location and its clinics in Greensboro. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and manage ServiceNow tickets to ensure timely responses and resolutions.

This role requires five days on-site at the assigned location, travel between facilities, and participation in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of previous IT technical support experience.
• Must reside within the Greensboro, North Carolina area or surrounding communities.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and the ability to travel between assigned facilities.
• Must be available to participate in an established on-call rotation.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week at an assigned primary location.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with clinical, administrative, and technical personnel.
• Ability to document work accurately within ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Technical Support: Maintain a consistent on-site presence at an assigned primary hospital location, five days per week, and provide support to staff.
• Incident and Service Request Management: Work ServiceNow tickets daily, ensuring timely response and resolution, with proper documentation.
• On-Site Rounding Program: Conduct routine visits and identify IT needs across departments and clinical areas.
• Project and Implementation Support: Assist with IT projects, deployments, upgrades, and testing.
• On-Call Support: Participate in after-hours support and follow escalation procedures.
