Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Consultant to oversee a portfolio of healthcare campuses in the Great Austin area, including Temple, Round Rock, and Pflugerville.

This onsite role requires hands-on project management, budget control, and strong client interaction to ensure facilities perform at peak while maintaining aesthetic standards. You will travel to sites, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and deliver projects from initiation through close-out, partnering with Property Managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to travel regularly to facilities within the Round Rock area.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects from planning to execution.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development and expense management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with extensive client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of facilities projects across healthcare campuses, ensuring successful completion from initiation to close-out.
• Conduct regular onsite visits and travel to facilities within the portfolio to oversee progress and address needs.
• Coordinate services for all business units and work groups.
• Oversee facilities enhancement projects including landscaping, remodeling, refurbishment, and HVAC optimization.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and expenses, reporting variances.
• Serve as primary client contact, provide updates, manage expectations, and foster relationships.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting timelines and budget status.
• Source and manage external vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Review and approve vendor contracts and terms.
• Ensure records are managed according to policies and legal requirements.
