Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England At Home is seeking a Documentation Specialist to manage and maintain regulated billing documentation and ensure timely month-end processing. You will liaise between physician offices and the agency, coordinate with billing and clinical teams, and support process improvements.

Responsibilities include reviewing, processing, and aligning billing documentation, supporting training, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college business courses or associate degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in a medical billing office setting strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities; proficiency in computer applications.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate client account and billing information in company systems.
• Review and process billing documentation to ensure claims are submitted accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot system issues and prepare documentation for issue resolution.
• Generate billing records and reports to support timely and accurate billing.
• Monitor billing, audit, and verification reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Work with intake, clinical, and billing teams to improve processes and ensure billing accuracy.
• Provide billing and accounts receivable updates to management and assist with training new staff.
• Coordinate billing-related paperwork between branch offices and centralized billing departments.
