Medcor is hiring a Full-Time Onsite Health Technician in Aurora, Illinois. You will be the first point of contact for employees with workplace injuries or illnesses, provide hands-on care, and support health and safety initiatives.

The role offers a consistent weekday schedule, collaborative team environment, and opportunities to impact employee health and safety. Prior occupational health or emergency background is valued, with Medcor providing extensive training.

Qualifikationen

• Current, valid EMT, Paramedic, or LPN certification/licensure applicable to the position.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage daily clinic operations.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other workplace technology.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care: Assess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).
• Manage clinic operations: Oversee daily clinic activities, maintain medical supplies, and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Support employee wellness: Educate employees on injury prevention, health promotion, and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with client teams: Partner with onsite Safety, HR, and other professionals to support employee health and workplace safety.
• Coordinate care: Communicate with offsite medical providers, urgent care facilities, and hospitals for follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records: Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinic activities using EMR.
• Conduct health screenings: Assist with pre-employment and post-offer screenings, PATs, and other services.
• Support case management: Assist with injury follow-up, return-to-work, and OSHA documentation.
