Job summary

Medcor is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at a construction-site clinic in Del Valle, TX. This PRN role runs 6am-6pm, Monday-Saturday, with hours varying by client needs. You will perform patient care, manage workers’ compensation, and support Return to Work programs on site.

Work involves collaboration with medical leadership, external providers, and client staff. A strong clinical foundation, comfort with CT environments, and effective communication are

Qualifications

• Must have valid licensure for EMT or Paramedic.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lift a 50 lb emergency bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Ability to work in a construction environment; climb stairs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to client employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per MCP protocols.
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Document care using EMR and related tools.
• Case Management and RTW program facilitation.
• OSHA record-keeping.
