Job summary

Medcor is hiring a full-time Onsite Health Technician in Nevada, IA to provide hands-on medical care in an employer-based occupational health clinic. The role supports first aid, triage, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses, and collaborates with Safety and HR teams.

You will work independently onsite with remote support from the Medcor team, manage clinic operations, and contribute to employee health and wellness initiatives while maintaining a consistent schedule.

Qualifications

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure applicable to the position.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently with strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other technology.
• Ability to lift a 50-pound emergency response bag.
• A positive, professional, and patient-focused approach.
• Passion for providing excellent care and creating a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Respond to workplace medical situations and coordinate additional care as needed.
• Support ongoing case management and Return-to-Work efforts.
• Coordinate care with outside providers, urgent care centers, and hospitals when needed.
• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Conduct PATs and support employee health, wellness, and education initiatives.
• Manage daily clinic operations and health service functions.
