Job summary

Medcor is hiring a full-time Onsite Health Technician (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN) for an employer-based occupational health clinic in Nevada, IA. The role focuses on first aid, triage, and treatment of workplace injuries, while supporting employee health, wellness, and education.

You’ll manage daily clinic operations and collaborate with Safety and HR teams. You'll work onsite with remote support from the Medcor team, enjoy a consistent schedule, and contribute to a trusted healthcare resource for

Qualifications

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification relevant to the position.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently with strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and related technology.
• Ability to lift a 50-pound emergency response bag.
• Professional, patient-focused approach with a passion for excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using evidence-based protocols.
• Respond to workplace medical situations and coordinate additional care as needed.
• Support ongoing case management and Return-to-Work efforts.
• Coordinate care with outside providers and facilities.
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Support clinic operations and administrative duties.
