Job summary

Medcor is hiring an Onsite Health Technician (EMT or Paramedic) on a PRN basis for a construction-site clinic in Maiden, NC. The role requires caring for patients, coordinating returns-to-work programs, and documenting care in EMR systems.

Hours are Mon-Fri 7 am to 5:30 pm, with variations by client needs. Applicants should be comfortable in a construction setting, able to climb stairs, and lift a 50 lb bag.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid licensure for EMT or Paramedic position.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to work in a construction environment and at heights.
• Willingness to be onsite at client facilities as-needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at the on-site clinic.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and RTW program coordination.
• Document care using EMR and other tools.
• Perform pre-employment screenings and health assessments.
• Collaborate with medical/operations leadership and client staff.
