Job summary

Best Buy Health is hiring a Health Services Response Advisor in San Antonio, TX to support both Consumer and Commercial PERS customers. You will handle emergency and non-emergency requests by phone and electronic channels, ensure accurate logging, and coordinate Lyft rides while maintaining compassion under pressure.

Role requires onsite work at a Best Buy Health location with training and shifts including overnights and weekends; CSA certification is required on hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or call center experience
• CSA certification coursework completed upon hire (paid on the job training)

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of individuals seeking support across medical, social, or wellness scenarios
• Respond to alerts for devices and Residential Living Facility devices with appropriate urgency
• Advocate for members, triage calls, and report crises to relevant agencies
• Coordinate transportation needs by dispatching Lyft rides
• Create logs of all communications to ensure safety and needs are met
• Monitor incidents in real time and escalate to clinical staff as needed
• Maintain compassion and composure in high-stress situations
