Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to provide onsite first-aid treatment, maintain medical records, and respond to facility emergencies.

This per diem position involves collaborating with the CMD and clinic staff to deliver patient-centered care and support wellness initiatives. The role requires EMT/Paramedic licensure in the state, CPR/ACLS certification, and a valid driver's license, with 3-4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Current EMT/Paramedic licensure in the state of practice.
• 3-4 years of experience.
• CPR/ACLS certification.
• Current and valid Driver’s License.
• DOT, Drug and Alcohol Certification, if applicable.
• Alternative to minimum qualifications, additional appropriate education or work experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid first aid and medical care for employees and during emergencies as needed.
• Coordinate care with WorkCare’s other service offerings and physician escalation services.
• Provide episodic care for minor medical issues and recommendations per guidelines.
• Maintain medical records and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
• Support injury prevention through education and ergonomic evaluation.
• Assist with return-to-work assessments and fitness-for-duty exams.
• Keep CMD and WorkCare management informed on clinic issues.
• Support health fairs and wellness initiatives and data collection.
