Job summary

WM is seeking a candidate to plan and direct onsite activities for hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling at client locations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role coordinates logistics, interfaces with clients and vendors, and upholds safety standards across field and office environments.

The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and OSHA/HAZWOPER certifications, with additional regulatory experience and strong communication skills to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field is required.
• High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant work experience.
• HAZWOPER Certification upon hire.
• RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience upon hire.
• OSHA 24-Hour Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of waste from client site, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading loads.
• Consult with client to identify and design cost-saving opportunities and proposals.
• Establish clear communication with team and subcontractors via email, chat and video conferencing; track requests and updates.
• Prioritize urgent requests and coordinate with subcontractors to schedule services; inform customers of delays or changes.
• Use CRM and scheduling software to streamline processes and coordinate services with subcontractors.
• Provide responsive, proactive customer service; own issues and resolve quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with client and government regulations through inspections and reporting; resolve issues timely.
• Administer client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts.
• Promote safety culture by training site personnel to meet safety and environmental regulations.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field
