WM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to direct onsite activities at client locations for hazardous and non-hazardous waste services, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will coordinate logistics, manage onsite personnel, and serve as liaison between clients and vendors, while upholding safety standards. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience are required; OSHA HAZWOPER preferred. This is an on-site full-time role in the Michigan area.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
• RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience required.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from client site, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading loads.
• Consult with client to identify, design and implement cost saving opportunities and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with client and government regulations by performing inspections and reporting; resolve issues timely.
• Administer client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts.
• Promote safety by ensuring site personnel are trained and compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
• May perform labor-intensive activities such as drum collection and bulking.
