Job summary

WM seeks an operations leader to plan and direct onsite activities for waste storage, transport, and disposal, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules. You will coordinate with clients and vendors, manage scheduling, and drive safety and efficiency across projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating hazardous waste logistics, communicating updates, using CRM systems, and administering contracts and invoicing while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field (or in lieu)
• High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years relevant experience
• HAZWOPER certification upon hire and regulatory compliance experience
• OSHA 24-Hour Certification Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from client site
• Consult with client to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Establish clear communication with team and subcontractors via email, chat and video
• Prioritize urgent requests and coordinate with subcontractors
• Use CRM and scheduling software to manage requests and updates
• Provide responsive, proactive customer service and resolve issues swiftly
• Ensure compliance with regulations through inspections and reporting
• Manage client and vendor invoicing, reporting and contracts
• Promote safety through training and regulatory compliance
