Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA is seeking an experienced Program Planner within the Program Design & Planning organization to develop, maintain, and evaluate performance against the PMB. This onsite role collaborates with the Program Manager, finance, contracts, and technical leads.

The successful candidate will manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), incorporate changes, and produce schedules, cost estimates, and risk analyses, ensuring compliance with government and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, Business or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of Program Planning or Scheduling experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years’ experience.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start; US citizenship is required.
• Experience using scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar).
• Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and evaluating critical path/workflow.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) compliant with government and corporate requirements.
• Assist in planning and cost estimating, perform analyses, and prepare reports to meet schedule commitments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly program schedule review packages and Contractual Data Requirements List submittals.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, variance analysis, and other schedule-related analyses.
• Incorporate contractual changes into the IMS to maintain realistic baselines.
