Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA seeks an experienced Program Manager to oversee complex defense programs, ensuring cost, technical performance and schedule commitments meet established targets.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage EVMS/IMS processes, report on Estimates At Complete, and communicate program status to leadership and customers. Onsite role with ~10% travel and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and 8+ years in relevant defense program management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in the defense industry.
• Experience with EVMS/IMP/IMS or risk and opportunity management.
• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Meet contractual commitments for cost, technical, and schedule performance.
• Report program metrics including EAC to leadership.
• Provide technical leadership to design, develop, integrate & test a compliant system.
• Communicate program status to Raytheon leadership and customers.
• As a Program Leadership Team member, help align on vision and execution strategies.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks or capture opportunities.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to team members.
• Travel as necessary to support the program (~10%).
• This is an onsite role located in Goleta, CA.
