Job summary

Moderna seeks a Manufacturing Associate I in Drug Substance Operations to execute GMP manufacturing tasks with precision. You will work in cleanrooms, support aseptic processing and formulation, and maintain accurate real‑time documentation.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and accountability in a highly regulated environment. Onsite work supports close collaboration with cross-functional partners, quality, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing/biopharma or regulated environments is helpful.
• Interest in a digital-forward biomanufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations following procedures, batch records, and work instructions in GMP.
• Perform cleanroom operations with discipline and attention to detail.
• Support drug substance manufacturing activities including aseptic processing, formulation, filtration, mixing, filling, and dispensing.
• Follow Moderna’s human performance model for error prevention and accurate execution.
• Complete documentation in real time using good data integrity standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, control, and readiness of the production area.
• Use SAP, Veeva, DeltaV, Syncade, LIMS, and CMMS as required.
• Develop understanding of equipment, process flow, and digital systems to recognize issues and respond appropriately.
• Follow all safety and waste/environmental guidelines and complete required training.
