Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics in Norwood, MA seeks a Manufacturing Associate II in DP Operations to perform core unit operations including formulation, sterile filtration, aseptic filling within isolators, and visual inspection. You will ensure material readiness and contemporaneous MES/eBR documentation, enabling compliant production.

The role requires 2–4 years of GMP manufacturing experience or entry-level with training, and is a 12-hour night shift on-site.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in a Scientific field; 2-4 years GMP manufacturing preferred.
• Comfortable working in cleanrooms with full gowning; able to stand for extended periods.
• Must have 20/20 vision (corrected allowed) and color vision adequate; vision test required.
• Ability to lift up to ~35 lbs; available for 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Perform formulation, sterile filtration, vial/syringe filling, and visual inspection per SOPs and cGMP.
• Complete accurate logbooks and eBR entries; conduct in-process checks and record results.
• Identify deviations and support troubleshooting with data and statements.
• Support SOP development, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain aseptic behavior, safety, gowning, and a clean, compliant environment.
