Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing all on-site operations at our Urbana community. You will help drive revenue, manage expenses, and ensure timely reporting while delivering exceptional service to residents.

You will assist with leasing activities, supervise maintenance coordination, and lead the on-site team to meet safety, quality, and policy standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management.
• Strong understanding of property operations and financial fundamentals.
• Excellent communication across levels and proactive customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager in overseeing on-site operations and financials.
• Ensure accuracy of revenue data, reporting, and analytics; oversee rent collection.
• Respond to resident service requests; maintain high resident satisfaction.
• Assist with leasing activities including tours, applications, and lease execution.
• Inspect units and common areas to ensure standards; support move-ins.
• Train and develop on-site team members; ensure safety and key controls.
• Ensure compliance with housing laws and company policies; coordinate with counsel as needed.
• Plan and execute resident events in collaboration with Resident Life teams.
