Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, seeks an onsite Location Manager for Mitchell, SD. The role oversees sales, operations, delivery, and inventory, with staffing, budgeting, and continuous improvement responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• Four years of related managerial experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Prior experience in the building materials industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall sales, operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory at the location.
• Direct daily location operations and ensure reporting from the online system.
• Develop and implement inventory control programs to meet targets.
• Involved in recruiting, hiring, and training, and reduce turnover.
• Motivate staff, approve wage increases, and set performance objectives.
• Recommend capital improvements and maintain cost-efficient equipment.
• Support OSHA and DOT compliance and enforce safety initiatives.
• Manage budgeting, standard costs, and location financial performance.
