Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Gateway Agent on-site to manage international shipments from order to delivery. The role involves preparing and assembling all required documentation for air, LCL or FCL shipments and ensuring timely distribution to carriers and customers.

You will maintain Navisphere data integrity, coordinate SOP-compliant tasks, and communicate with overseas offices and vendors to ensure smooth shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1-3 years of Global Forwarding experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble documentation for air, LCL or FCL shipments.
• Ensure documentation is processed and released to carriers, customers and agents timely.
• Maintain data integrity in Navisphere and shipment records.
• Coordinate tasks to meet SOP requirements and update shipment status.
• Communicate clearly with overseas offices, agents, customers and vendors to ensure smooth shipments.
