Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer in Sinton, Texas to own capital projects from scope through startup. You will collaborate with internal teams, engineering firms, and contractors to ensure safe, timely execution at the mill.

You will spend time in the field, coordinate bids, and influence purchasing decisions, driving tangible results in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering degree.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on project engineering experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to own multiple phases of a capital project and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own capital projects through full lifecycle: scope, design, bidding, purchasing, construction, startup.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to keep projects safe and moving.
• Attend field activities to clarify needs and turn plans into completed work.
• Support capital initiatives across the engineering department and mill.
• Define scope early and advance designs, bids, and purchasing decisions.
