Job summary

Cindavi is seeking an environmental engineer to join a two-person team and take on field responsibilities on the plant floor. You’ll perform inspections, sampling, and waste handling, gaining hands-on exposure to heavy industrial plant operations and evolving toward regulatory reporting.

Two years into your environmental career, you’ll collaborate with production teams and fellow engineers to identify issues, conduct daily field work, and progress toward data-driven compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related environmental field.
• Roughly two years of plant experience with hands-on sampling, inspections, or waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Own the field work that keeps the plant compliant: gather samples, run air testing, and complete inspections.
• Walk the plant checking hazardous waste labeling and disposal paperwork, catching problems before they become findings.
• Work directly with production departments and engineers to flag environmental issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Build foundation toward compliance data and regulatory reporting as you gain responsibility.
