Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst – Forecasting & Planning in Venus/Midlothian, TX. This fully onsite, 12-month+ contract supports material demand forecasting and supply planning for Transmission and Distribution construction and maintenance work, translating project plans into forecasts, replenishment plans and actionable supply strategies.

You will monitor forecast accuracy, identify shortages or excess inventory risks, partner with project and field teams, and develop planning

Qualifications

• Experience in demand forecasting and materials planning.
• Experience within an electric utility or asset-intensive industry preferred.
• Understanding of how construction and maintenance project schedules drive material demand.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience developing or reporting supply chain and planning KPIs.
• Experience with Maximo or a comparable ERP system.
• CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain material demand forecasts for Transmission and Distribution construction and maintenance work.
• Translate demand forecasts into replenishment and supply plans, including stocking levels and reorder points.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust planning models as schedules change.
• Identify potential material shortages and excess inventory risks and recommend actions.
• Partner with project, engineering and field teams to understand upcoming work and material requirements.
• Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to reflect current inventory and in-transit materials.
• Develop and report planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turns.
• Support planning continuity during Velocity to Manhattan MWMIS transition.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities to improve material availability.
