Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks an Inventory Control Analyst in Venus/Midlothian, TX for a 6-month+ contract. The role focuses on inventory reconciliations, adjustments and compliance across materials operations, aiming to improve accuracy and investigate discrepancies.

Key duties include cycle counts, SOX-related documentation, and collaboration with warehouse partners to optimize processes and reporting. Work is onsite, Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with a $30–$45/hr W2 pay rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or reconciliation.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with SOX compliance and audits is a plus.
• Lean, Six Sigma certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory audits and reconcile records across warehouse locations.
• Support monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
• Process inventory adjustments with approvals and documentation.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Support SOX compliance documentation and write-offs.
• Manage excess/obsolete inventory and opportunities for redeployment or write-off.
• Develop SOPs and performance metrics for inventory control.
• Assist during a warehouse management system transition with operations and partners.
