Limiting Factor Group designs, builds and manages power infrastructure. The Fixed Asset Accounting Analyst maintains the company’s fixed asset registrar and ensures accurate depreciation, disposals, and rollforwards.

The role requires on-site work in Menlo Park, CA, with a focus on data integrity, audits, and coordinating with operations and finance. You will manage asset tagging, asset lifecycle events, and monthly depreciation, while supporting the annual property tax filings and audits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience that includes fixed assets
• Knowledge of capitalization and depreciation rules under US GAAP
• Experience with the fixed asset module of an ERP
• Strong spreadsheet and Microsoft Office skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience with the billing module of an ERP
• CPA or progress toward it

Responsabilités

• Maintain the fixed asset register, including asset tags, locations and useful lives
• Move completed projects from construction-in-progress into service and start depreciation
• Calculate and record depreciation each month
• Record disposals, transfers and impairments
• Carry out physical asset counts with Receiving and Facility Operations
• Prepare fixed asset rollforwards and supporting documents for the audit and property tax filings
