LF Group (LFG) designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The Fixed Asset Accounting Analyst maintains the company's fixed asset registrar on site in Menlo Park, CA, and collaborates with Receiving and Facility Operations.

You will move projects from construction-in-progress to service, initiate depreciation monthly, and handle disposals, transfers and impairments while preparing rollforwards for audits and tax filings.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of accounting experience with fixed assets.
• Knowledge of capitalization and depreciation rules under US GAAP.
• Experience with the fixed asset module of an ERP.
• Strong spreadsheet and MS Office skills.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or progress toward it.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the fixed asset register, including asset tags, locations and useful lives.
• Move completed projects from construction-in-progress into service and start depreciation.
• Calculate and record depreciation each month.
• Record disposals, transfers and impairments.
• Carry out physical asset counts with Receiving and Facility Operations.
• Prepare fixed asset rollforwards and supporting documents for the audit and property tax filings.
