Job summary

Jensen Hughes is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to oversee on-site inspections at a large manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. You will verify installations against drawings and codes, document findings, and coordinate with project teams to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires NFPA knowledge, strong documentation, and the ability to read complex construction documents. NICET certification is preferred; relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire sprinkler inspection, installation, or quality control within commercial or industrial construction environments.
• Working knowledge of NFPA standards (e.g., NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, 25).
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems on site for compliance with codes and drawings.
• Test system functionality, document deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare reports with photos and notes.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and AHJs to resolve field issues.
• Educate staff on system operation, maintenance, and testing procedures.
