You will verify installations against drawings, codes, and project specs, while documenting findings and coordinating with field crews, engineers, and AHJs. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and effective communication to support project turn-over and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspection, installation, or quality control within commercial or industrial construction environments.
• Working knowledge of NFPA standards (e.g., NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, 25).
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, inspection/reporting tools).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and milestone inspections of fire protection systems per drawings and NFPA standards.
• Verify installations comply with shop drawings, codes, and project specs.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and photographs.
• Coordinate with crews, project management, and AHJs during inspections and testing.
• Enforce safety policies and assist with punch list development.
