Jensen Hughes is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Design Consultant with a strong background in water-based fire suppression systems for a major Phoenix facility. You will lead design, review, and field oversight activities, interfacing with clients and project teams.

The role emphasizes technical depth, judgment, and collaboration to ensure code compliance and project success in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

5+ years of experience in fire protection system design or consulting, with emphasis on automatic sprinkler systems and fire pump design.
Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes, life safety standards, and local jurisdictional requirements.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong technical report writing.

Responsabilidades

Lead or support the design and layout of automatic fire sprinkler systems for a variety of facility types in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements.
Generate fire suppression specifications for water-based fire protection systems.
Review, evaluate, and prepare sprinkler, fire pump, and/or special suppression system shop drawing submittal packages.
Act as the owner’s representative for fire protection systems during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
