Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Finance Analyst to apply advanced cash and accrual accounting principles, prepare and analyze financial reports, and support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for a portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

The role involves preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies while collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced accounting transactions in preparation for client financial statement packages.
• Create and post journal entries and ensure expenses, receipts, owner distributions, funding requests and other transactions are accurately posted.
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and reporting; ensure timely delivery to client and management teams.
• Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization per procedures.
• Respond to and resolve complex issues from management and clients regarding accounting issues and reports.
