Job summary

CBRE Finance Analyst position involves applying basic cash and accrual accounting to prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for a portfolio of clients and properties.

You will create journal entries, post transactions, and use data from multiple sources to generate comprehensive financial packages; respond to management and vendor requests and analyze trends in scenarios and models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills, able to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial figures.

Responsibilities

• Complete accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packages.
• Create and post journal entries; ensure expenses, receipts, owner’s distributions, funding requests, and other transactions are posted.
• Use aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reports.
• Generate financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting.
• Review information for accuracy; respond to management and vendor requests.
• Analyze trends and scenarios in tools/models and advise accordingly.
• Resolve issues raised by management teams and clients regarding accounting issues.
• Identify potential issues and take corrective action.
• Apply standard procedures to solve routine problems.
• Lead by example per CBRE RISE values.
• Ensure quality and meet deadlines.
• Exchange information clearly and confirm understanding.
