Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Finance Sr. Analyst in Boston, MA, to apply advanced cash and accrual accounting to prepare, evaluate, and deliver accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

You will work within the Financial Strategy and Operations function, maintaining policies and controls. Responsibilities include completing intermediate to advanced accounting transactions, posting journal entries, and delivering financial packages on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions in preparation for client financial statement packages.
• Create and post journal entries and ensure accurate posting of expenses, receipts, owner distributions, funding requests, and other transactions.
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery to clients and management teams.
• Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy and authorization.
• Respond to and resolve complex accounting issues and requests from management and clients.
