The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 1–3 years of experience.

  • 1–3 years of accounting, finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, FP&A, or related experience.
  • Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; large data reporting experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Create and post journal entries, ensuring proper recording of expenses and receipts.
  • Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
  • Generate financial reports and accounting packages from multiple data sources.
  • Review financial information for completeness and accuracy; research discrepancies as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding accounting and reporting processes.
  • Assist with analyzing financial data and identifying trends, risks, or improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support business operations and maintain accurate records.

Aboutthe Role
As a CBRE Financial Analyst , you will support day-to-day accounting and financialoperations by applying cash and accrual accounting principles to ensureaccurate financial reporting and transaction processing. You will play a keyrole in accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries,reconciliations, and month-end close activities while helping maintainfinancial accuracy across multiple business functions.

This jobis part of the Financial Strategy and Operations function, which isresponsible for maintaining accounting, financial reporting, and operationalcontrols that support business objectives. The team works collaboratively withmultiple internal departments to ensure financial transactions are processed accuratelyand efficiently.

WhatYou’ll Do Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Create and post journal entries, ensuring expenses, receipts, funding requests, and other accounting transactions are properly recorded. Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close activities. Generate financial reports and accounting packages using data from multiple sources. Review financial information for completeness and accuracy and research discrepancies as needed. Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding accounting transactions, reporting, and financial processes. Assist with analyzing financial data and identifying trends, risks, or opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with internal departments to support business operations and ensure accounting needs are met. Utilize financial systems and reporting tools to maintain accurate records and support decision-making. Work independently to resolve standard accounting issues while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls to meet compliance and reporting requirements. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with CBRE’s RISE values while supporting departmental goals and objectives.
WhatYou’ll Need Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred;equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. 1-3 years of accounting, finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, FP&A, or related experience preferred. Internship experience may be considered for recent graduates with relevant hands‑on accounting exposure. Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Highly organized with exceptional follow-through and ownership of assigned work. Self-starter mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work through challenges independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. We are seeking candidates who are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large volumes of data, reporting, and analysis. Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technologies. Curious, resourceful, and adaptable approach to solving problems and improving processes. Ability to analyze information and exercise sound judgment when resolving accounting issues. Intermediate to advanced mathematical and analytical skills, including financial calculations and reporting analysis.

Disclaimers Remote Work Arrangement: This position is a remote role. Candidates must be located within the United States. Preference may be given to candidates located near Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; or Charlotte, NC. Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be between $65,000 and $75,000 , depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, and location.
