Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a production machinist for onsite work in the Erie area. You will oversee the final assembly of the Regal Rexnord line, ensuring parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating cell machines, maintaining tolerances, following drawings, and maintaining a clean, safe worksite with 5S practices. You will collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate production.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehension of drawings/specifications and/or written instructions.
• Strong shop math abilities for required functions.
• Basic understanding of theory and practice needed for the job.
• Demonstrated ability to perform all listed functions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all machines within the Cell to produce quality parts and maintain tolerances.
• Operate all Regal Rexnord Product Line equipment and perform line functions including assembly, balancing, deburring, oxiding, Magnafluxing, lathe, EDM, and grinding.
• Keep work area clean and safe, maintain 5S standards, and manage material handling and stock pull.
• Make layouts from drawings and use precision instruments to verify results and take corrective action when needed.
