Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an onsite assembly operator to ensure on-time delivery by performing assembly per standard work procedures and required tact time. The role involves assembling ball nuts and using small hand tools for deburrs, engraving, and related operations within the cell.

Daily communication with team and other facilities is required; comply with 5S, EH&S, and quality plans. The work may involve use of saws, straighteners, buffers, and overhead hoists as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow prints, MI’s and QP’s to accomplish the assigned task.
• Must be able to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal.
• Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
• Use of inspection equipment to include, but not limited to: Micrometers, pitch micrometers, indicator micrometers, calipers, indicators, thread gauges, length gauges, and tape measures
• The ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must be able to compute rate, ratio and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assembles ball nuts, operates small hand tools for debur operation, engraver, as needed to complete operations.
• May use saws, straightener, buffer, and overhead hoist.
• Daily communication with the team and other facilities is required.
• Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations. The work area must comply with 5S requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
