Job summary

Air Liquide Hillsboro is seeking an Onsite Field Service Technician II to service semiconductor-related gas and chemical delivery equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain systems, debug controls, and support customers on site.

The role requires experience with PLCs, SCADA, and control software, plus the ability to work in a clean-room environment and lift up to 50 pounds. Comprehensive benefits are offered starting day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of related work experience in a related industry or from military service and technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems and understand controls technology.
• Experience with GE/Emerson and AB Rockwell PLCs and software debugging.
• Proficient with Proficy Machine Edition, Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, and Cimplicity.
• Knowledge of how SCADA is used with Bulk Chemical and Gas Distribution systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a clean-room environment with respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical delivery equipment on site.
• Assist with commissioning, testing, retrofitting, and debugging controls and software.
• Collect data, diagnose maintenance issues, and implement repairs with sound technical judgment.
• Provide customer-facing support and communicate findings to internal teams.
