Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, tool qualification, and troubleshooting to keep production lines running.

You will work with leading equipment platforms from ASM, TEL, Applied Materials, and Kokusai, and collaborate with production teams while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of diffusion and thermal processing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diffusion equipment.
• Support start-up/shutdown, leak checks, calibrations and recoveries.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and support return-to-production.
• Handle wafer/material flow per cleanroom protocols.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation on time.
• Adhere to safety, electrical, and chemical safety standards.
