Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics U.S. LP in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to manage daily operation, maintenance, and reliability of semiconductor gas delivery systems and related equipment.

You will ensure ultra-high-purity gas delivery and support field installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role entails hands-on mechanical and electrical work, analytical gas testing, and collaboration with contractors to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1–5 years of hands-on engineering/operations experience.
• Direct experience with high-purity gas delivery systems in semiconductor or industrial gas sectors.
• Travel up to 30% nationwide for technical support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate semiconductor gas delivery systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on gas plant assets.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate gas analysis instruments and test reports.
• Oversee daily performance of gas distribution equipment to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
• Provide installation support and commissioning of new gas delivery systems.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors and ensure safety protocols compliance.
• Provide on-call technical support to minimize production downtime.
